A good training session does not end by the clock. It ends before fatigue takes away a child’s technique, safety, and желание to get back on the snow.

Warmth does not mean piling on everything from the wardrobe. The goal is simpler: stay dry, protected from the wind, and still able to move freely.

Alpine skiing is downhill skiing with a fixed heel, where the skier uses turns to control direction and speed.

Alpine disciplines are racing forms of downhill skiing in which the skier follows a marked course, and the result is decided by the time achieved and the correct passage through the gates.

Angulation is a side bend of the body that lets the skier adjust ski edging and the position of the center of mass without tilting the whole body inward into the turn like one solid block.

The turn apex is the point or short section of the turn where the skis are pointing roughly down the fall line.
